MV’s Marching Band has a total of fifty seven members marching on the field, including color guard.

MV’s marching band will be playing a show titled “A Night at the Cinema” during the halftime show at the football games. It opens with the main theme from Star Wars. Next is a ballad called Somewhere Out There from the movie An American Tail, and the show closes with a medley from Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl.

The Marching Rams practice everyday during class and 2-3 times week after school or later in the evenings.

“I think we’re seeing our biggest improvements happen musically,”stated Ms. Erica Travelstead, band teacher.

Ms. Travelstead added that the whole band is stepping up and contributing equally.

“[Ram fans] can expect a band that shows up ready to cheer on the MVTHS Rams football team!” stated Ms. Travelstead.
