March 12, 2019
Always with a smile on her face, one might have seen Molly Heierman in the hallways of MV
“I know Molly because through one of my classes, I get to go help in her room,” said Kenzie Hamlin, ‘21. “Molly is a very fun girl, with a very positive attitude!”
“She always has a smile on her face and is friendly to everyone,” added Hamlin.
Friday, March 8, was Molly’s 22nd birthday, and sadly, her last day as a student at MV after 8 years.
A surprise party was held for her in the Board Room to celebrate her birthday.
The event was held from 11:30 to 1:23, and both students and staff could stop in during this time and help celebrate with Molly.
The Board Room was decorated with pink balloons and props for photo taking.
Refreshments such as cookies, rice crispy treats, lemonade, and sweet tea was served.
Molly’s favorite music including tunes from The Greatest Showman, “Walking on Sunshine” and “My Girl,” was played.
Party attendees could even take a quiz to see who knows Molly best.
“My favorite part of the party was getting to see Molly and all of her friends dancing to the music,” said Hamlin.
Until Molly’s graduation on May 18, she will be volunteering one full day or two half days a week at MV.
