Within the mix of back to school, the Khaos Kage is something that people are already looking forward to starting.
The Kage is the beloved MV student section that brings together the student body.
“Being a Kage Leader and getting people hyped up,” said senior Ava Wheeler.
This year’s Khaos Kage consists of a team of seven seniors; Keaton Plummer, Aaron Scarber, Cam Meyer, Ava Wheeler, Emmalee Kroeschen, Kamaree Pollard, and Olivia Burns.
Every year the goals within the Kage are to be better than the previous year.
“Everyone participating and more cheering will make the Kage better than last year,” stated senior Quincy Heck.
In past years, the main problem has been a lack of participation from the student body, especially from the underclassmen occasionally upsetting the upperclassmen.
“It’s annoying because I know how fun the Kage could be if everyone participated; don’t be the bum that sits out of the fun,” exclaimed senior Emmalee Kroeschen.
“Why would you waste your high school experience being boring and acting too cool?” continued Kroeschen
“You’ll have regrets in the future if you don’t live it up,” finished Kroeschen.
The Kage Leaders have big goals and have planned out ideas and themes.
This year’s themes consist of “USA”, “Pinkout”, “White Out”, “Camo”, “Beach”, “Lebron Night”, “Neon”, “Ram Pride”, and “Halloween”.
“My favorite is the first annual sponsored White Out Night vs Centralia,” said Wheeler.
The themes are a way to get people involved and to make the games fun.
Make it a priority to go to as many games as possible so we can have the best student section possible.
“You only have four years…live it up while you’re here,” added Kroeschen.
