As the class of ‘25 prepares to graduate and move on to a myriad of colleges and universities, they face a seemingly never-ending mass of paperwork, FAFSA applications, and scholarship essays.
Along with schoolwork, part-time jobs, and extracurriculars, these added responsibilities can prove a challenge for many seniors.
“It has been extremely difficult because I’m so busy and never home so it’s hard to get things done,” said Julia Jee ‘25.
Another concern though, if you can manage to get through the lengthy application process, is choosing a college.
“What’s most important to me is price, I don’t want to spend my whole life paying student loans,” asserted Tarrah Sneddon ‘25.
“The feeling when you walk on campus and the way their program will set me up for my future are most important to me,” added Ava Wheeler ‘25
For those planning to apply for college in the coming years, get an early start and utilize the class of ‘25 and the wisdom they have gained through first-hand experience.
“Apply everywhere and go on college visits, it will set you up for success,” said Josie Shirley ‘25.
