As winter sports continue to get closer to starting people are eager for the excitement of basketball games.
With the season starting soon, Coach Jeff Lonnon and the Lady Rams are preparing hard for their first game of the season.
“We use about 25 days in the summer to play in shootout and games, and then we have open gyms in the fall two days a week to work on our game,’’ stated Coach Lonnon
The girl’s team has a history of winning, so the expectations are high this year once again. “Expectations are high. We have enough talent to have a really good year as long as we stay healthy”
The Lady Rams are excited to start their season and have some high goals for this upcoming season,
“Our goals are pretty high this season. Win the South 7, Win the Regional, win at least 20 games, and win a Sectional. If we accomplish all of that then anything else is icing on the cake!”, stated Lonnon.
The Lady Rams will take a trip to Nashville on November 21st to play in the Nashville tournament.
The Lady Rams have high hopes for this season as well and hope to make a deep run in the playoffs this year and bring home the title.
Come out and support the girls on December 3rd for their first home game against Teutopolis.
“We encourage everyone to come out and support the Lady Rams both at home and on the road. See Mr. English or check the school website for a schedule,” stated Coach Lonnon.
