It’s the “Most Magical Place on Earth.” and Disney World is truly loved by many people, young and old alike.
Disney fans all around the world love Disney World because of the dreams and fantasies that it brings to life for them.
“I do think that Disney World is the most magical place in the world. Disney has worked very hard to make the experience for all people amazing. From the hotel service to the transportation to the meals, to the rides and the fireworks, the staff at Disney work very hard to make special things happen for people. The bus drivers will sing you happy birthday, you could get bumped to the front of the line, get a free dessert, get upgrades to a better hotel, the ways to make it feel magical are endless,” stated Mrs. Jennifer Little, Communication Arts.
“Of course! It’s the “Most Magical Place on Earth!” The attention to detail is why it is so magical. From the theming of the parks to how they were constructed, the cast members working there, every detail has been meticulously planned to add to the magic,” stated Mrs. Holly Davis, Communication Arts.
The magical aura of Disney World makes everyone feel differently.
“Disney World makes me feel like a little kid. I love getting excited about meeting these characters I watch on TV. I enjoy seeing all the hidden details incorporated into the rides and scenery. It is hard to find anything upsetting when you are surrounded by bright colors, enticing smells, and smiles,” said Sophia Owens, ‘25.
“Disney World makes me feel like you are in a different world. You get to leave reality for a bit,” said Mr. Scott Gamber, Social Studies.
Disney World has everything that one can imagine. It boasts several resorts including Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge swimming pools and hot tubs, it has a zoo with over 5000 animals in it, it has lots of roller coasters and rides, and fireworks and a parade every night, along with tons of food.
“My favorite thing about Disney world is the atmosphere, especially the Polynesian and all the beach-themed areas. They put scents in the rooms and they smell amazing,” said Mckenzie Hughes, ‘25.
“I love the resorts. All of the different theming and restaurants. As I have gotten older I enjoy spending time more at the resorts than the parks themselves.” Stated Mr. Gamber.
Disney World located in Orlando Florida is mainly a theme park with over 170 rides.
“Arguably the best ride at Disney World is the New Star Wars “Rise of the Resistance” Ride. The ride in itself was fun, but the experience of it was amazing. There are a ton of Storm Troopers and fun characters. It was incredible because the ride was so huge and you really felt like you were on a Star Wars ship,” stated Owens.
“My favorite ride at Disney World is in the animal kingdom park and it is from the movie Avatar, it is called Flight of Passage and you are riding on the back of a banshee. You feel like you are flying, water sprays on you when you fly over water, and you can feel the breeze, the smells change, and you can feel the banshee (breathing) beneath you, thanks to haptics,” said Mrs. Little.
Disney World has four different themed parks, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom.
“Magic Kingdom and Epcot are my two favorite parks at Disney World. Magic Kingdom is what you think about when you think of Disney and has so many iconic rides. It also has so much to do. I love the world showcase at Epcot and all the different shows and music,” stated Mr. Gamber.
“My number one favorite park at Disney is Magic Kingdom, it’s the classic Disney dream, with many old school rides, great shows, and food. My second favorite is the Animal Kingdom. I love the world of Avatar, and the adventurous nature of the park,” said Mrs. Little.
Disney World is a very magical place that has affected the lives of many.
“Disney World has allowed my family to bond and spend time together in a place where we can all find enjoyment and make memories that will last a lifetime,” added Mrs. Little.
