MV Rams football played the Althoff Crusaders on Friday, September 14.
This was a tough game for the Rams following their first win the previous week.
Although MV had several significant plays and came close to scoring, Althoff gained momentum throughout the game.
Several MV players were injured during the game, which was another drawback for the team.
Kijah Banda was injured and taken out during the last quarter, and several other players were left battered by the end of the game.
The Rams fell to the Crusaders with a final score of 0 to 41.
The team evaluated what went wrong and plans to work hard to get back on their feet and bring another win to MV.
“We came out flat, we just have to do our jobs and execute,” said Coach Jerrod Kessler.
“We just have to start lighting fire within each other and not give up,” said Nick Malone, ‘19.
“We have a lot of work to do this week in practice to get it right,” said Calvin Mcmillan, ’20. “But I can promise you, we will bring our ram family a dub.”
