MV’s Student Media Center hours have changed since last school year. Mrs. Marla Wilson, Mr. Fatheree and Mr. Koehnke determined the best time to keep the facility open.

Media Center hours during previous years ran from 7:35 am to 3:21 pm

The new Media Center hours on Monday-Wednesdays are 7:35 am to 3:40 pm. On Thursdays and Fridays, the Media Center is open from 7:35am to 6:00pm.

Mrs.Wilson said that the two extra hours on Thursdays and Fridays were added for students who have makeup tests and to give students who don’t have access to the internet at home be able to do their online work here.

A key reason for the change is because several students were staying after school unsupervised.

Mrs. Wilson also added that the two extra hours on Fridays are for students to stay after school for Friday night games and to still be supervised.

Students are required to stay in the Media Center only, unless issued a pass from a teacher to go to their room.
