MV caffeine connoisseurs are excited to try a new coffee shop. 7 Brew is opening its Times Square Mall location soon.
Teachers and students alike are anxious for the arrival of a 7 brew at the mall.
“Great Location! It’s downtown and that’s great for business.” Mr. Trace Turner, psychology and history, teacher said in an interview.
Broadway is a busy street in the mornings, so the location is very convenient. Having a shop on a popular street is good for everyone involved.
It’s an expert decision for the finances of 7 Brew, and great for the enjoyment of Mount Vernon residents.
The menu of 7 Brew includes a variety of drinks. Iced coffee, energy drinks, smoothies, tea, and more. There are also a variety of flavors for each type of drink.
There are also options for how sweet customers prefer the drink.
Mr. Trace Turner prefers unflavored coffee like cold brew, while Jewel Patterson, 26’, prefers sweet, caramel coffee.
7 Brew has options for both kinds of people.
Even people who don’t enjoy coffee are intrigued to try things on the 7 Brew menu. Because of the wide variety of options on the menu, people who don’t enjoy coffee will be attracted to try it.
Zuri Das, 25’, said, “I do not enjoy the bitter taste of coffee,” but she is excited to try the Seven Fizz items on the menu. And, there are so many other items to try.
The prices of 7 Brew match those of its competitors. They also offer more products than others. A large is priced at around $6, it can be more or less depending on add-ons.
A large from 7 Brew is a whole 32 oz of coffee. This makes it one of two competitors in Mount Vernon to offer so much coffee for so little price.
Mr. Trace Turner and Sarah Butler are appreciative of these kinds of prices because of the multitude of coffees that they consume a week.
Mr. Turner drinks around 21 cups a week, 2-3 cups a day. Butler drinks less (around 3-4 cups) but still more than quite a few teenagers.
Not every drink on the menu is caffeinated. The smoothies are a great option for someone who wants to purchase something but doesn’t enjoy caffeinated drinks.
What drink would be recommended to someone starting to drink coffee? Sarah Butler, 25’, suggested a caramel macchiato and Jewel Patterson recommended a frappuccino.
A caramel macchiato has more coffee than a latte but is a good option for people who don’t mind a bitter taste. For those who have never had coffee before, the sweet taste of a frappuccino is a great alternative.
7 Brew offers not just a variety of drinks but also a variety of flavors and bitterness levels.
For someone like Das, a sweet smoothie or a Seven-Fizz drink is the best choice. But, for Butler, something that tastes more bitter is there to try.
The menu even includes smaller, non-caffeinated drinks for children. So if high school customers have siblings or children in their lives and want to try 7 Brew, they can!
All of the options of flavors and the affordable prices compared to their competitors push 7 Brew up on everyone’s list of “things to try.”
7 Brew is slated to open officially in December. As of now, there is no set date.
